In the West and Northern Mexico you can still find antique saddle blankets woven by Navajos or 
in the case of Mexico probable Mixtec weavers of Oaxaca. Usually with a geometric design it gives each saddle even more personality in addition to the horse it rests upon. The intent with these HBs is to create that textural reference.
