San Miguel used to be a town known for its tin work and woollen textiles. 
For years we would walk by weaving “talleres" without giving the material or skills involved much thought. When we started the ranch we needed saddle blankets and area rugs.  
The area rugs in particular didn’t hold up as well as we thought so we decided to do products that were vertical instead of flat.
Don Martin has allowed us to have our own local textile source and we are all in awe of the bright colors he can accomplish in addition to the natural range we use.
